Rectangular Tiles

Colour stretches across the wall in slender bands of glazed terracotta, catching the light differently from one tile to the next.

Made in Spain in a palette designed to live together, these rectangular tiles bring colour, warmth and an architectural quality to walls and floors.

Laid horizontally or vertically. One colour or several. Quiet from a distance, full of character up close.

Our rectangular tiles are handmade and hand-painted in Spain from terracotta clay, then glazed and fired to create their characteristic glossy surface.

Size & material
Each tile measures 5 × 25 cm and approximately 1 cm thick. Made from 100% ceramic with a terracotta body.

Finish & natural variation
The glossy glaze reflects light and gives colour greater depth. Because the tiles are painted, glazed and finished by hand, variations in tone, surface and edge are expected. Tiles from the same colour will not be completely identical — we recommend mixing pieces during installation to distribute these variations naturally across the surface.

Where can they be used?
Suitable for interior wall applications including kitchen splashbacks, bathroom walls, shower walls, fireplaces and feature walls. Their narrow proportions also work particularly well for smaller areas, alcoves and decorative details.

Horizontal or vertical?
Both. A horizontal layout creates longer, calmer lines and can make a surface feel wider. Laid vertically, the 5 × 25 cm format creates a stronger architectural rhythm and can emphasise height. They can also be arranged in stacked, offset or more decorative layouts.

How many tiles will I need?
50 tiles cover approximately 0.63 m² / 6.73 sq ft before allowing for grout joints, cuts or wastage. We recommend ordering additional tiles to account for installation cuts and future replacements.

Installation
As a handmade product, small differences in dimensions and edges should be expected. We recommend that tiles are laid out before installation so the installer can balance colour and surface variation across the finished area. Always use an experienced professional installer and select adhesives, grout and sealing requirements appropriate to the intended surface and environment.
